My brother graduated with his doctorate degree last weekend. He is now Dr. RTP. My folks flew down for the commencement ceremony and RJB and I watched via webcast (albeit a frustrating stream, but it suddenly worked when RTP hit the stage!) . I teared up when they called him Doctor and then when he was hooded. I am a very proud sister.

Needless to say, RTP is the smartest of the P children and I know he worked very hard and had a long challenging road to get to this moment. I also have to say that it's been some time since I've seen my dad look so proud. Plus, how cool is it that he gets to wear the floppy renaissance-looking hat?!
